1. Eligibility:
The contest is open to individuals aged 18 or older, you must be a current employee of Pacific Industrial & Marine Ltd., WCF or a related Hazelwood Group Company. By participating, entrants agree to abide by these official rules and the decisions of Pacific Industrial & Marine Ltd., which are final and binding in all respects.
2. How to Enter:
All entries must be submitted via the official contest submission form on our website. Each entrant may submit a maximum of 10 photos. Entries must be received by October 16, 2026.
3. Photo Requirements:
All photos must be original, taken by the entrant, and feature wildlife photography.
Photos may not contain any watermark or copyright marks.
Photos must be in digital format and must be submitted in the specified format (e.g., JPEG or PNG).
4. Prizes:
One (1) Grand Prize: $500
Twelve (12) Runner-Up Prizes: $100 each
Prizes will be awarded based on the judges’ evaluation of creativity, originality, and overall quality of the submissions. Winners will be notified by email within 30 after the contest ends.
5. Usage Rights:
By submitting a photo, you grant Pacific Industrial & Marine Ltd. a royalty-free, irrevocable, perpetual, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, modify, distribute, and display the photo in any media, including but not limited to digital and printed marketing materials. No further compensation will be provided for the use of the submitted photos.
6. Intellectual Property:
You affirm that the submitted photos are your original work and do not infringe on the rights of any third party. You agree to indemnify Pacific Industrial & Marine Ltd. from any claims related to your submitted photos.
7. Judging:
All entries will be judged by a panel of experts selected by Pacific Industrial & Marine Ltd. Judging will be based on creativity, originality, and adherence to the contest theme. The decision of the judges is final.
8. Privacy:
Any personal information collected from entrants will be used solely for the purpose of administering this contest, and in accordance with Pacific Industrial & Marine Ltd.’s privacy policy.
9. General Conditions:
Pacific Industrial & Marine Ltd. reserves the right to modify, suspend, or terminate the contest in the event of technical issues or other unforeseen circumstances beyond its control.
10. Disqualification:
Pacific Industrial & Marine Ltd. reserves the right to disqualify any submission that does not comply with these terms or any that appears to involve fraud or misconduct.
11. Limitation of Liability:
By participating in the contest, you agree that Pacific Industrial & Marine Ltd., its affiliates, employees, officers, and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or relating to your participation in the contest or your acceptance or use of any prize. Pacific Industrial & Marine Ltd. is not responsible for any incorrect or inaccurate information, technical failures, or unauthorized human intervention.
12. Indemnity:
By submitting an entry, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Pacific Industrial & Marine Ltd., its affiliates, employees, officers, and agents from and against any and all claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including legal fees) arising out of your participation in the contest, any breach of these terms, or any infringement of third-party rights.
13. Effect of Invalidity:
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court of competent jurisdiction, such provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable, and the remainder of the terms shall remain in full force and effect.
14. Jurisdictional Issues:
This Agreement is governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws in force in the Province of British Columbia. You irrevocably agree that the courts of the Province of British Columbia shall have exclusive jurisdiction with respect to any matter arising out of or in connection with this Agreement.
